About Sean

Sean lives in the seaside community of Hull Village, Massachusetts, where land, sea, and light quietly shape his creative work.

His projects explore the space between the ordinary and the enduring—taking everyday moments and making them feel intentional, and allowing special moments to become timeless. At the heart of his work is a simple practice: noticing, remembering, and inviting others to remember how textured, fleeting, and beautiful life can be.

As a photographer, Sean is drawn to candid images and natural light, favoring presence over performance. That same sensibility carries into his stone bowl work, where weathered New England beach stones are patiently shaped and assembled—each piece an act of attention, a way of holding a place, a moment, and the quiet passage of time.

Look at your mind. Be curious. Welcome groundlessness. Lighten up and relax. Offer chaos a cup of tea. Let go of 'us and them'. Don't turn away. Everything you do and think affects everyone else on the planet. Let the pain of the world touch you and cause your compassion to blossom. And never give up on yourself.
